Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that her government would not hesitate to take strong measures to curb militancy in the country.
The Prime Minister said that militancy is a major problem in the country. She said that she has already asked the proper authorities to take necessary steps to form 'South Asian Anti-terrorist Taskforce' in line with her party's election manifesto for curbing cross-border terrorism.
The task force will help track down militants and bring them to justice. It will also strengthen cooperation between the police forces and courts of the South Asian nations.
