Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina
on Monday urged the law-enforcement agencies and the people to be cautious
about the activities of the militants.

meeting held at the secretariat.

newsmen, at a briefing at the PID conference room after the cabinet meeting
held at the Bangladesh Secretariat.
Replying to a question, the press secretary said that the Islamic militant
organizations were active in the country and the government was trying to stop
their activities. Meeting sources said that a report on Islamic militancy was
placed at the cabinet meeting by the home ministry and the cabinet members held
detailed discussion on the issue.
The meeting was informed that some Islamic organizations are patronizing 30
Islamic militant groups indirectly to establish rule of Allah in the country.
