Shafiq Ahmed, the minister for law, justice and parliamentary affairs in Bangladesh told reporters at his office that accused war criminals from Bangladesh's 1971 war of independence will be prosecuted under International Crimes Tribunals Act. The Act was passed two years after the liberation war.
