Libyan police rescued 350 illegal immigrants from its coast including 66 Bangladeshi.
International Migration Organization informed journalists that these illegal immigrants were on their way to Italy. Bangladesh Minister for expatriates’ welfare told media that government would take necessary measures to take back the Bangladeshis.
According to Tripoli Post another boat was capsized in which Libyan officials estimate that more than 200 migrants may have drowned.
