Call-in Show:  Obama’s First One Hundred Days in Office

Since taking office on 20 January, President Barack Obama has, among other things, passed an economic stimulus package, ordered the closure of the prison camp at Guantanamo Bay, set a timetable for the withdrawal of US troops from Iraq and signaled a willingness to open up a diplomatic dialog with countries like Iran and Cuba.

How do our listeners rate him as a President? What do they want to know about his major initiatives so far?

Our panel members include Professor Imtiaz Ahmed, International Relations Department, Dhaka University, Professor Shafiqur Rahman, Journalism Department, South Carolina State University and Professor Anindya Majumder, International Relations Department, Jadavpur University, Kolkata.
