Bangladesh State Minister for Law Kamrul Islam said 66 cases that were “politically motivated” and filed against politicians will be withdrawn.
A scrutiny committee recommended that those cases be dropped. Ten of these cases were filed by the Anticorruption Commission.
The committee has so far recommended that 174 cases be withdrawn.
