Former Indian President, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam arrives in Bangladesh on the 19th for a 3-day trip.
The former President will be paying calls to government officials including the Prime Minister and will visit with students and faculty of Dhaka University and Viquarunnessa Noon School and College.
As one of the architects of India’s nuclear program, Dr. Kalam will also be attending the first convocation of the University of Information Technology and Sciences on July 20th.
He will also meet with Nobel Laureate Professor Muhammad Yunus.
Dr. Kalam was the President of India from 2002 to 2007.
