Sheikh Hasina , Prime Minister of Bangladesh is scheduled to visit India in the third week of December this year . Recently Indian Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao visited Bangladesh to discuss on Sheikh Hasina’s agenda during her New Delhi visit. Indian foreign secretary discussed in details with Bangladesh’s foreign secretary about the Sheikh Hasina’s discussion agenda in India.
Sirajul Islam, a former Ambassador has analyzed the impact of Sheikh Hasina’s visit to India. He says that the ruling parties in both Bangladesh and India for historical reasons has been very close to each other and there is element of trusting one another. It is therefore, very natural to expect that Sheikh Hasina’s visit will result in the resolution of all outstanding issues between these two neighborly countries.
