On Friday, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina urged the people of Bangladesh to be vigilant so that conspirators will not violate their rights. She spoke at a program at her official residence marking the third anniversary of her return from exile on May 7th 2007 when the military backed caretaker government was in power.
Awami League and its frontal organizations chalked out different programs to observe the day. Activists and members of Awami League, the party currently in power, visited Sheikh Hasina’s Ganabhaban residence to meet the Prime Minister and listen to her speech.
