Although the former Prime Minister had been initially critical , she has now said as long as the armed forces act with neutrality, she would welcome the operation. Until the fourth day of the operation , which is called, ' Operation Clean Heart ', 675 people, including ten ward commissioners have been arrested and 52 arms recovered.Three people have died so far for which the victims' relatives say the armed forces were responsible but the government said they were unwell and they died in hospital. So far 2500 troops have been deployed for this operation to hunt down the terrorists . Bangladesh Armed Forces say that they would require 40.000 troops for this countrywide operation which is expected to last for three months.
