Bangladesh's state-run television reports at least two people are dead and more than one-hundred others are missing after a river ferry capsized in the north of the country.
The television station said the ferry, which was carrying about 200 people, went down in Kishoreganj district during a storm Saturday night. Police and rescue workers are searching for the missing passengers.
Last week, at least 72 people died when an overcrowded boat collided with a barge and sank in the Surma River. Ferry disasters are common in Bangladesh, where boats are often overloaded and safety regulations ignored.
