The main opposition party in Bangladesh , the Awami League has protested in the parliament against what they call muffling the voice of opposition in the parliament. Very recently the microphone of the Opposition Leader Sheikh Hasina was shut when she tried to protest against the appointment to a government post of an accused person in Bangabandhu & the 3rd November political Murder Case . Members of Parliament walked through the corridor carrying black flags and they tied black cloth on their mouth symbolically showing that their voices are muffled.
