In this edition of this mini series an attempt has been made to look at the special features of whatever limited democracy people of the British India had got in the days of the colony . It also looks at separate viewpoints of the Hindus and the Muslims of India and discusses the advent of the birth of two political parties in India, divided on communal lines.
