For the last two weeks the tension that existed at the Bangladesh India border has now increased. Bangladesh said Indian Border Security Force (BSF) pushed people into Bangladesh at Panchagarh and Nilphamari borders. A press release from the Indian High Commission in Dhaka said no "push in" of any Bangla-speaking Indian Muslims has ever been made by BSF.
