US Ambassador in Bangladesh Harry K Thomas said he was surprised at the postponement of the 13th South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (Saarc) Summit in Dhaka.
The ambassador said he expected the SAARC summit would lead to the implementation of a South Asian Free Trade Area (Safta).
