Saudi Arabian Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal wants to buy a five-star hotel in Bangladesh as the first step towards his long-term investment in the hospitality sector there.
Bin Talal, who is on a short visit, Tuesday expressed his willingness to set up two five-star hotels - in Dhaka and the southeast port city of Chittagong in the next few years.
He conveyed his proposal at a meeting with Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mir Mohammad Nasiruddin and Foreign Minister M. Morshed Khan.
