Dhaka to Probe into the Allegation on ULFA Working from Inside Bangladesh


Bangladesh will probe into an allegation by the Border Security Force (BSF) of India that the United Liberation Front of Assam (ULFA) runs seven international-standard hotels and operates three bank accounts in Bangladesh. State Minister of Home Affairs , Lutfuzzaman Babar said that no official complaints has been made by the Indian authority. S C Srivastava, inspector general of Indian Border Security Force of Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur and Nagaland frontier said at a news conference in Shillong that the ULFA-run hotels are located in Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet. He also mentioned that three bank accounts are run by this Assamese rebel group. Mr Srivastava also said that Indian Security Forces have been alerted so that the rebels cannot re-enter Indian territory.
