Dr Akmal Hossain, Professor of International Relations in Dhaka University says that Iraninan voters, particularly the younger generation, should act to bring in changes in Iranian Politics.
Professor Hossain said that despite the fact that Iran has some form of democracy unlike many other countries, Iran's democracy is controlled by a Guardian Council of the Muslim Clerics and even an elected President is restrained by the religious leaders. Any change in this regard can be brought in by the voters themselves. He also said that the issue of developing nuclear weapons is unlikely to have an impact on election result.
