Bangladesh Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia has sent a message to US President George W. Bush expressing sympathy for the hundreds of victims of hurricane Katrina.
The hurricane caused catastrophic damage to the US Gulf Coast. Bangladesh Foreign Minister M. Morshed Khan also sent a message to US Foreign Secretary Condoleezza Rice expressing sympathy. Amir Khasru has more on the story.
