A spokesman of the foreign ministry of Bangladesh has said a letter written by 16 US lawmakers to their secretary of state as their internal communication.
He was answering reporter’s questions on the issue. He said he suspects the letter was instigated against Bangladesh by some groups both at home and abroad, which have long been active to defame the country. He however said the letter would definitely not affect the US-Bangladesh relations.
