Bangladesh Home Secretary Safar Raj Hossain and his Indian counterpart VK Duggal discussed cross-border smuggling, counterfeit bills issue, ratification of the Land Border Agreement of 1974 and infiltration issue among other topics during their talks in New Delhi. They also agreed on coordinated efforts to stop smuggling of drug, arms and explosive and providing consular access. Both countries exchanged lists of top criminals.
