Matiur Rahman Nizami , the Amir of Jamate-e-Islami Bangladesh, an Islamic fundamentalist party ally to the government , and Minister for Industries has denied his party’s link with the Islamic Terrorism in Bangladesh. He refuted the claims by a recently expelled BNP MP, Abu Hena that Jaamat is involved in religious terrorism in the country. Nizami reiterated his view that Islam could not be associated with terrorism.
