The Second Phase of  West Bengal Assembly Election Ends

The second phase of West Bengal state assembly election ended peacefully on Sunday. The polling was held for 66 seats in state assembly from four districts of West Bengal. Until late afternoon 75 per cent voters voted in East Midnapore district , 70 percent in Hooghly district, and 65 percent voters voted in Nadia and Howrah districts.

A long queue was seen in front of the polling booths. Therefore it is assumed that like in the first phase of the election the percentafe voters who voted today could reach 81.

Although political parties are apparently happy about the higher percentage of voters , they are worried too because they do not know which way the result is going to swing because of these extra votes.
