At least nine 6 were killed and more than 200 injured as violent storms lashed Sirajganj and Manikganj.
In Sirajganj, the storm started lashing six upazilas of the district at 8:00pm on Wednesday and continued for an hour, killing four people and injuring 35 others. The affected upazilas are Belkuchi, Shajadpur, Ullapara, Tarash, Raiganj and Enyetpur. The storm also damaged innumerable houses and left many people homeless.
