Fresh tension erupted between Bangladesh and India on Tuesday when Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) fired several gunshots towards Bangladesh territory without any provocation.
Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) returned fire. The cross fire occurred in bordering areas in Panchagarh and Chuadanga districts.
BDR and BSF later held a flag meeting. BDR lodged strong protest against the BSF for the firing.
