An eminent historian Tapan Roy Chowdhury has been the Professor Emeritus of Indian History and Civilization in the University of Oxford.
He has recently been awarded Padmabhushan by the government of India . Mr Roy Chowdhury has received several academic awards during his very long tenure as a Professor of History. Professor Tapan Roy Chowdhury has now been writing his autobiography.
