Bangladesh caretaker government on Saturday decided to convert Biman Bangladesh Airlines to a public limited company to turn the losing state-owned enterprise into a profitable concern.
Dr. Abul Barakat, Professor of Economics at University of Dhaka spoke to VOA about this decision. He feels if corruption could be eliminated, Biman would be profitable.
