Bangladesh President Professor Dr. Iajuddin Ahmed on Sunday urged the authorities and business community to reduce Bangladesh's "huge trade gap" with India.
He made the comment at the opening of India Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IBCCI). Commerce Adviser Dr. AB Mirza Md. Azizul Islam, State Minister for Commerce of India, Jairam Ramesh, Acting High Commissioner of India in Dhaka, Sarbajit Chakrabarty and business leaders of the two countries joined the function at Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
