The state animal resources development department in the Indian state of West Bengal on Thursday sought the the Central government’s advice on precautions that need to be taken on bird flu in view of the outbreak of the disease in Manipur.
A team of Central government officials, who are now in the state capital Kolkata for a meeting on bird flu, have alerted the state officials on steps that need to be taken to prevent any outbreak of bird flu in West Bengal.
