Bangladesh supports the steps taken by United Nations regarding Burma.
Bangladesh in a statement to UN Human Rights Council expressed that support. Meanwhile, Bangladesh foreign adviser Dr. Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, met with the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy to Burma, Ibrahim Gambari, at a United Nations office to discuss the Burma issue.
