The Chairman of National Revenue Board, Badiur Rahman has been romoved from his present post. He has now been made Secretary, Food and Disaster Management. Badiur Rahman served as NBR Chief over the last nine months during which some controversies were noticed amongst the business people.
However, Rahman calls the transfer as a routine matter.Planning Commission member Mohammad Abdul Majid has been made chairman of the revenue board to replace Badiur Rahman. A few other high officials in different ministries were transferred.
