Bangladesh’s Army chief, General Moeen U. Ahmed, in an interview with Voice of America spoke about his meetings with United Nations General Assembly President, officials of UN Peacekeeping Force and US Congressman Joseph Crowley.
The army chief also cited the caretaker government's achievements, such as recasting and reforming the Election Commission and Anti-corruption Commission.
General Moeen denied allegations about a loan. He said he borrowed only the amount permitted by the Trustbank Bangladesh.
The General also spoke about other current issues in Bangladesh.
