In December VOA programming will be carried on both AS2 and AS-3.
As of Jan. 1, 2008 VOA programming will no longer be carried on AS-2.
Dishes for existing users will have to be directed to AS3 at that time.
Here are the instructions:
Moving from AS2 position of 100.5 Degrees East to AS3 at 105 Degrees East. No physical changes to receivers. The package/MCPC/Channels etc in our transmission will Not change. All the VCs, PIDs etc will all remain the same. Symbol Rate, FEC and all that will remain the same. Even the downlink polarization will remain Horizontal the same. Will have to re-point existing AS2 antennas and change the downlink frequency from 3,880 MHz to 4,040 MHz. Its about as easy as it can get when changing satellites!
