A major political party in Bangladesh celebrates victory day of Bangladesh’s liberation war in 1971. Its leader, the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is detained on corruption charges.
The acting President of the party and other members in a discussion meeting on the Victory Day said that while politicians are being tried , war criminals are let go free . They also criticized that the enemies of liberation in 1971 have been invited to the Presidential reception on the victory day.
Awami League leaders were also critical of the way their imprisoned leader Sheikh Hasina is being treated. They said that they would face the challenges from January onwards.
