Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee announced a grant of 300 million rupees to North Bengal Development Council.
The grant will be utilized within the next three months. The Chief Minister said the funds will be used in six districts and for road construction and maintenance, health, North Bengal Medical College development, reinforcement of river embankments and agriculture.
