The 27th director of the Voice of America, Dan Austin is now visiting Bangladesh. He will be attending the celebrations of the 50th Anniversary of VOA’s Bangla Service.
Dan Austin attended a VOA Fan Club program and praised the activities of the clubs. Mr. Austin said VOA broadcasts to “an audience about 115 million people every week around the world, we do that in 45 different languages but nowhere, nowhere else do we have a such a response, such a rapport with the listening audience and what you have done with the Fan Clubs to help your communities, help your country.”
Dan Austin also inaugurated a program – a joint venture with Radio Today.
