Bangladesh Nationalist Party chairperson Khaleda Zia
on Monday warned against ‘conspiracies’ to manipulate the forthcoming
parliamentary polls and asked the interim government and the Election Commission
to stay neutral.
She warned that her party and alliance would build up a movement if the conspiracies for election engineering did not stop.
The BNP chief said polls must take place on December 29 as the people had been anxiously waiting for this election for the last two years.
Khaleda called upon the people to guard against any attempts at election engineering saying that the January 22, 2007 polls.
