On
the occasion of the Inauguration Day on January 20, 2009 , VOA Bangla Service
will broadcast an extended evening air show for the listeners in Bangladesh ,
West Bengal and elsewhere.
The air show will begin at 10 pm (BST) , which is 0930 pm (IST) , as usual but instead of closing at 11pm BST ( 1030 IST) , the air show will continue till 1130 pm BST which is 11:00 pm IST.
The show will include live coverage of Barack Obama, taking oath of office as the 44th President of the USA at the Capitol Hill Washington. Besides there will be live coverage from different points in Washington DC along the route Obama will travel from the Capitol Hill to White House. The show will also include special report and analysis of the event.
