India’s renowned political analyst and Executive Editor of a Kolkata daily , The Daily Protidin , Anjan Bose , in an exclusive interview with VOA Bangla talks about the reasons for which the Indians voted in favor of the Congress Party and its alliance.
Anjan Bose says that the result of this Lok Sabha Election depicted the fact that people of India want political stability instead of a loose coalition government. It also indicated very clearly that Indians have endorsed the work of Manmohan government and above all people do not want the rise of any communal spirit .
He also said that this election result has made the left parties irrelevant in Indian politics and it has also wiped out the myth that the left parties cannot be removed from the West Bengal political scenario. The impact of this might be found in the next Assembly election in the Indian state of West Bengal.
