Bangladesh State Minister for Foreign Affairs Dr Hasan Mahmud during his Washington visit, met with the Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs, Richard A. Boucher.
In an interview with Voice of America, Dr. Hasan Mahmud said that his meeting with Mr. Boucher and other State Department officials was positive and he was assured that Bangladesh will receive help from US in combating climate change.
Dr. Mahmud also said that Bangladesh is considering the request to recognize Kosovo’s independence.
