Parliamentary Delegation will Leave Wednesday to Visit Tipaimukh


A Parliamentary delegation will be leaving on Wednesday to visit the Tipaimukh dam in India. This visit will seek to evaluate whether the project should be done as a joint study with India.

The delegation consists of 12 members and will be lead by Abdul Razzak, the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Water Resources Ministry

The visit will include a series of meetings in Delhi with members of the Indian power ministry and a visit to the Tipaimukh dam.

The parliamentary delegation does not consist of any BNP members.

The visit will confirm and address as to whether structures have already been built and secondly, it will address irrigation and flood-protection embankment projects.
