Bangladesh High Court ordered the government to halt the withdrawal of troops from the Chittagong Hill Tracts until Aug 19. Two separate petitions were filed last week.
The bench of judges Syed Refaat Ahmed and Moinul Islam Chowdhury gave the order.
The applications were filed by Advocate Tajul Islam and Badiuzzaman.
The applications were filed on August 10 seeking a High Court injunction on the ongoing single largest pullout of troops from the Chittagong Hill Tracts since a peace accord was signed in 1997.
