Dr.Saleemul Huq a Senior Fellow with The International Institute for Environment & Develoment in London.
At present he is attending the Copenhagen Climate conference. He talked with VOA about Wednesday's protests, Ehiopia's 100 billion dollar proposal and Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's speech on Wednesday
he discussed US participation at the conference and the news that President Obama will join the world leaders at the conference on Friday.
Dr.Huq expressed optimism about the outcome of the conference.
