Veteran Journalist from Bangladesh KG Mustafa Passed Away

Language hero, veteran journalist and diplomat KG Mustafa died at the LabAid Hospital in the city in the early hours of Saturday. He was 83.

Doctors at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital told BSS that KG Mustafa breathed his last at around 1:30 am.

KG Mustafa had been suffering from various old-age complications, including kidney and heart ailments.

He was admited to the LabAid Hospital on February 8 and shifted to Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on February 16.

KG Mustafa was born in 1928 at Kuripara in Sirajganj. He started his profession in journalism with the daily Azad in Kolkata before the partition of the sub- continent
