Sabina Yasmin has been one of the most prolific singers in Bangla music for more than four decades now. She was born in Dhaka and started as a child artist with a radio program called Khelaghor in the early 60s. Her first playback song was recorded for a film in 1967. Since then, she has sung more than fifteen thousand songs according to one estimate. She comes from a family with several renowned musical names.
