Bangladeshi police say 15 people are dead and at least 200 more injured after bombs exploded at four packed movie houses in the town of Mymensingh, in northern Bangladesh.
Police said the bombs went off at a few minutes' intervals Saturday evening as moviegoers were celebrating Eid al-Fitr, the festival marking the end of the Islamic holy month of Ramadan. They said between two- and three-thousand people were inside the movie houses as the explosions began.
Local hospitals are treating several people with serious or critical injuries. Police say the death toll could still rise.
Authorities are investigating. No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attacks.
