The elections for Union Parishad, a grass root level loval body elections are scheduled to begin from January 25 2003 . The election would continue until March 1 2003 . For this apparently non political election, the candidates have been asked to submit their nomination papers by January 1 , 2003. The local government ministry and the Election Commission are coordinating on this matter.
