Awami League candidates won local elections in Narayanganj and Magura - 2003-01-19

The opposition Awami League-backed candidate Abdul Gafur won the Magura municipal election. In Narayanganj the Awami League-backed candidate, Dr Selina Hayat Ivy, also won the municipal election.
