A four-day long Director General (DG) level border conference between the Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) and Border Security Force (BSF) of India started at the BDR Headquarters in Dhaka on April, 28.
All the Sector Commanders of BDR, high government officials including Directors of Home Ministries Foreign Ministries, Land Records Departments and Survey Departments attended the meeting.
DG BDR Major General Jahangir Alam Chowdhury is leading the Bangladesh side while the 17-member Indian delegation is being led by Inspector General of BSF Ajay Raj Sharma.
