A row over the cost of showing Indo-Pak cricket matches between India's Duradarshan and a Dubai based satellite has brought in an uncertainly over whether the rural audience in the Indian state of West Bengal would be able to watch the matches through the Durdarshan terrestrial TV. Kolkata's nearly one million four hundred thousand house holds have cable TV and they are most likely to watch the match although the Dubai based satellite TV has also asked the cable providers to pay the money in advance and that may deprive Kokata viewers too . Police have been put on alert to face any untoward incident in case Kolkata cricket fans are deprived of the match.
